Charles W. Tapp is the Founder and General Partner of Revival Venture Partners and Founder & Managing Partner of Vetted Capital.

Charles began his career at Koch Industries, and was an early team member for what became known as the Koch Network, a juggernaut that transformed American public policy. He was also an early team member for Mars, Incorporated’s Corporate Innovation team that led its transformation from legacy food manufacturer to a vertically-integrated Pet Healthcare company that grew from $33B/Sales to $45B/Sales (i.e. 10X faster than arch-rival Nestle) during his tenure. More recently he served as the CEO of Defender Bio and as a Board Member for startups and non-profits.

His partners & projects impact has been highlighted in Pitchbook, Axios, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CBS News, USA Today, Fast Company, Forbes, Fortune, Stanford Social Innovation Review and beyond.

Charles holds a BA in Economics from Appalachian State University, was a H.B. Earhart Fellow in Economics at George Mason University and extended his education with executive programs at the University of California (Berkeley) & University of Cambridge.

Charles is an active father to four and resides in Denver, CO. In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors, music, travel, food & wine. He is a member of the Metropolitan Club of the City of Washington, The Consumer Analyst Group of New York and Denver Presbyterian Church.
